We require a deposit of at least 50% at the point of order. The balance is due before the piece is delivered to you. Delivery charges are additional and paid directly to the delivery company on receipt of goods.

If we supply you with goods that are faulty, we will replace the item concerned and cover the cost of all deliveries relating to the replacement. If it is not possible to source a replacement, you will be refunded in full, including any delivery charges incurred.

Natural characteristics of wood (grain patterns, knots, variations in colouring etc.) are not considered to be faults – they are part of the unpredictable beauty of nature! Hard wax is sometimes used to even surfaces – this is also not considered a fault.

Wood is hydroscopic. This means it will adapt to the moisture in its environment. The wood used for our furniture is always dried to the correct moisture levels, and the pieces are constructed to structurally withstand movement. Nevertheless changing moisture levels in the environment may result in small amounts of movement throughout the year.

We are happy to offer advice on the maintenance of your specific piece of furniture – please ask us for further details. In general, use natural waxes and oils rather than commercial cleaning products, and avoid placing hot or wet objects directly on wooden surfaces.

If you choose to cancel a standard order or a piece does not fit in, we will issue a credit note only. No refunds will be given.

If you cancel an order for a non-standard or bespoke piece, the 50% deposit will not be returned and no credit note will be issued.

We benefit from selling good quality furniture – not from disputes. In our experience any problems that do arise can be overcome with a little bit of common sense.
